Entries –£2 Per Class

Entries taken on the day up to 12pm

 

 

 Dog Classes Competition starts at 1pm

 

Pedigree Classes 

1. Puppy - Any breed (6 - 12 months) 

2. Gun-dog - Any breed 

3. Hound and Terrier - Any breed 

4. Working and Pastoral - Any breed 

5. Toy and Utility - Any breed 

6. Any Variety - Open 

 

Novelty Classes 

7. Best Veteran - Any breed (7 years and over) 

8. Best Junior Handler (under 14 years ) 

9. Best Crossbreed 

10. Best Rescue Dog - Any dog that has come from an animal shelter. 

11. Most Handsome Dog 

12. Prettiest Bitch 

13. Most Appealing Eyes 

14. Waggliest Tail 

15. Best 6 legs - Dog and Owner 

 

All winners go towards the Best In Show in the Show Ring at 4pm

Dog Agility 2018

 

This year we are running a Dog Agility Programme which will be something we haven’t done before.

It's an independent Show with L & N Show Services.

The Dog Agility competition opens at 8am and judging starts at 9am.

 

 

2018 AGILITY PRICING

Entries –£3 Per Class (in advance*)
£4 Per Class (on the day)

Closing date for advance entries is by 2nd June 2018

 


*Tickets will be required to gain entry to the showground which will be sent out with your running numbers

2018 Rules of Show:

 

  1. Equines must not be ridden or walked in pedestrian walkways
  2. The committee reserve the right to make amendments to the schedule or classes without prior notice
  3. All riders must wear correctly secured British Standard Skull Caps / Riding Hats that meet current safety standards. BSEN 1384 is acceptable. Handlers of horses / ponies competing in Handler / In Hand classes aged 14 years & under must wear a secured current BSI standard Skull / Riding Hat.  All handlers 16 years of age and under must wear a hard hat
  4. No trotting or cantering between collecting / warm up rings
  5. THE JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL. Any objections to be lodged in writing with the show secretary with the appropriate fee of £30 which is refundable if the objection is upheld
  6. No horse or pony under 4 years of age to be ridden anywhere on the showground
  7. Stallion and colts must not be exhibited by any person who has not attained their 16th birthday before 1st Jan in the current year
  8. Rings will not start before the times stated on the schedule.  All classes will run consecutively thereafter unless otherwise stated.
  9. No horses to be tethered anywhere on showground at any time
  10. No loose dogs permitted on the showground. PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG 
  11. Entry fees are non-refundable unless in extreme circumstance.
